My friend and auto mechanic came from there around 1987 I think. He’s more American than many of my friends and relatives. Drives a Chevy p/u and a Chevy Suburban. Also a Harly Davidson. You gotta hear the stories I got over the decades from him.
The gov’t got real tough on crime because you could not even have a business you got robbed every day. Lots of rapes and kidnappings. Sometimes they would just kill people for nothing. He says the place has been doing great getting better for years he started vacationing there years ago too.

Snaps from inside the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism — built by El Salvadoran officials hellbent on winning their war against violent street gangs — show heavily tattooed, barefoot and stripped-down inmates chained and kneeling shoulder to shoulder as heavily armed guards tower over them, according to the BBC.
The prisoners are forced to crouch down with their hands behind their heads while chained inside the massive facility, which authorities claim is the largest in the Americas.
“Today at dawn, in a single operation, we transferred the first 2,000 gang members to the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism,” Bukele posted on Twitter on Friday.
“This will be their new house, where they will live for decades, mixed up, unable to do any more harm to the population,” he wrote.
The prison, which is in Tecoluca, about 46 miles from the Central American country’s capital, San Salvador, will eventually house as many as 40,000 inmates in eight buildings, each with 32 cells that will hold about 100 prisoners each, the BBC reported.
Each cell has only two sinks and two toilets.
The new prison is part of Bukele’s controversial war on gangs, launched last year.
The initiative has raised concerns among human rights observers who have complained that the campaign violates basic constitutional rights, including by allowing security forces to arrest suspects without a warrant.

the scum are full aware of that and on days like today cap, 1 or two big shares to flatten out the rise in the indeces….. they also make sure no-one enforces illegal shorting in the shares, so short squeezes are nigh on impossible to run …perhaps we will see the metals drag the shares up kicking and screaming, until it becomes blatantly obvious the shares are at bargain basement prices, relative to the metals. as they are now.

Mny tks for yr comments and suggestions…I have a small supply of Ivermectin and have it saved for a real bad case….my wife had this bug before me, by a few days and she did not get it anywhere near as bad as me, so I was not sure what it was…so decided to go the Quercetin route first, with zinc….I had read that Quercetin is v like HCQ, but a natural one and easily available at the time. So I bought some….it too stopped the Fever within 12 hrs/24 hrs….
Where I think I may differ from my wife, was that I had a Cardio Version done a week before, which has worked and they put u under for that and give u Oxygen, that may have pushed the bug further into my lungs, so I got it worse ????
