The only way we could have avoided this disaster was after 1970 to have a smart patriotic media that leads and advises the public to worship domestic production and maintain a minimum wage 7% increase every year. No smoking and seat belts was the only good things.
A slice of Pizza is the best way to calculate the inflation rate. Its basic, no robotics of gov’t support involved. So from .15 cents in 1970 to to $3.15 cents today is 7% per annum. If you want to use .25 cents a slice it comes out to 6.5% per annum inflation rate.
