My take is that u have strong unity in Opec, tks to Vlad keeping the lads on message, or else….with MBS in Saudi adding to the no messing idea. U have serious demand issues, tks to Net Zero causing minimal to less exploration/investment….combine the two and short of a serious recession prices will stay bid and even a serious recession, will see production cuts by Opec …..

Plus at some point the US has to replenish it’s Strategic reserves.

So, if everything is fixed, how come FRC shares opened way up at $16.38, why is it now $13.80? Similar moves in the other regional banks. A lot of nervousness in that sector. What does the big money know?

up almost $3, oil shares doing well. I can’t get a beat on oil. I think Goldman or B of A were predicting $120 oil, I think by year end. It’s not hard to see a geopolitical event causing a spike, or a USD puke getting us there.

As you say, it might be coming soon, but by the time we here in the U.S. decide to really do anything about it, I think things might already be ugly.

The juniors I have left aren’t doing anything either, I’m probably 90% in large caps and all of them pay a little divi. Can’t complain about their performance since the most recent selloff ended. Silver shares are outperforming.

Nasdaq looks weak to me. We’ll see, but some of the pm shares are coming back.

All the talk was about a possible credit crunch, as banks pull back their lending….that is a given and that Commercial Property will be the next shoe to drop……tks to WFH and credit crunch.

Deutsche bank could have been a spoof based off hedge funds buying their CDS and starting a rumour….I am not hearing/seeing any particular news on DB, to cause problems and for once it does seem they have cleaned up their act…but longer term they will not escape the economic problems hitting Germany……unless Net Zero is really cancelled, it will cripple Germany, as their auto industry is so large.

No new banks went belly up over the weekend, so the scum has decided to take advantage and it looks like pullback time for pm’s.

Dollar flat, rates up 8 bips. No doubt we’re going inverse of rates lately, until we’re not.

GLD has some support right here so I’d be surprised if it got below 180. OTOH, pm’s always go down further than I anticipate. We never quite made it to being over bought, maybe this will leave room for a nice rally when it’s over.
