In the past 6 mos Gold is 24% higher but in Europe gold is only 9% higher.
In the past 5 years? Gold did best in Japan up 88% (weakest currency) Gold was the worst performer in Switzerland, up only 40%, (strongest currency)
I might be looking at Canadian and Australian commodities that might profit on things to come. So even if their currency isn’t affected as much they will likely profit off demand. Of course if demand goes up here companies like NEM should do good while economy shrinks even being in the US.
But did open my eyes to the fact that with things changing taking gold to another country with our dollar falling costing us more to buy it well as Chief Wackado says you know the rest.

Maybe some foreign countries will do better than others with their dollar going forward so gold might be cheaper for them.
But for us it might be a different story.
We have time and maybe sit on what we have plus more choices with the disaster unfolding and somewhere like this to hedge and go on with your life and watch.

Every time Gold got over $2000. The question is, will it work for them again?? I myself doubt it, because Silver is still so low and its been moving up. If that continues, it should help Gold go to new highs. Lets not forget Siver hit $40-$50 years ago.
