If Mexico took it back if it weren’t for the drug cartels it would probably be better off. Plus less fast food more real food so they’d be healthier and more family orientated not anti family.
There were Mexicans years ago now, 2000 coming here to work. They’d work about 3-4 months or doing as many days as they could or double shifts through registry’s then go to Texas or Mexico and could live on what they earned here.
Then this registry got greedy. I knew a nurse at a rehab who told me one came on the floor asking a lot of questions and said I’m not even a real nurse I don’t know what I’m doing. Anyway the originator of the registry got investigated. There were two of them. One not taking out taxes.
I happened to be working at the jail that night, not my regular nursing job just on call because I was buying a house. I heard, hey the news are here, the one hiring non nurses she’d been arrested and was down stairs in intake. The other one destroyed her computers and took off then real nurses who worked shifts didn’t get paid. Luckily they didn’t kill anybody.
Ps I’m not sure if the one arrested was Mexican or not like the other but foreign. I didn’t see her cuz I was in my own room doing wound care and inmates were coming to me. The only time alone with inmate except they left the door open
