This causes some problems/conflicts between the surface rights owner and the mineral claimants, especially if their claims are located on private property or the surface rights are otherwise encumbered. When I owned my BC ranch, which included the surface rights on a total of about 30,000 acres counting private land, Agricultural leases, woodlot, and grazing leases, I was constantly being asked to approve what the mineral claimants intended to do to the surface in order to satisfy their annual upgrade/improvement requirements. I was pretty easy going as long as they cleaned up their messes before leaving and did not leave any structures on the surface, and left all the gates like they found them when coming and going…. and they were always very respectful of that.

Someone over at ZH posted that FOX actually got a billion and did not settle but were told to get rid of Tucker by the TPTB. Thinking maybe the bond market rally may also have something to do with the First Republic carnage.

Watching FOX Biz. They are dicussing that “how to buy gold” is at an all-time record for its’ searches. The anchor Jackie DeAngelis says “I don’t know, it seems like spot gold should be a lot higher than it is with all the problems around the world and markets” that’s what it’s done in the past.”

Yikes. She knows something is up. Course the other anchor mentioned GLD. Jackie liked phyzz.

BTW – my gut says this is the beginning of an ugly correction in the broad market.

You know you can lease a stream and even live there quietly of course. I checked into it around 2008. Another nurse was interested in what I found and wanted to go for it.
