Goldie may have called it as being a knee jerk reaction. The USD should have gone down and stayed down yesterday.

A day later, we get the right move? Not happy, but crumbs at this point work just fine.

OTOH, we were up nicely to start the day yesterday too – that didn’t work out very well.

Yeah I think that was a knee jerk reaction. Buy the rumor sell the news. Can’t tell yet if it will go into the Fed but the candlestick on the yen short that was up in the morning and by then soon as my son in law got back to take care of the kids it was good night and woke up to a hangman candle and no stops on it. Self destructively speaking that’s not good for the short hedge of dollar if it drops but good for gold.
Checked the short again no hangman it was up. Strange.
only 5-7 gain from here anyways and nods are in low numbers anyways.

Today was an odd reaction to the BOJ decision to barely raise rates. So, our rates go up and the dollar rallies back?

I think today was just a news reaction and I thought about getting out of my yen short even if it has potential with their loosening policy’s. I was just too tired.
It’s all just a guessing game right now whether their first stance holds that there we’ll be no rate hikes this time then possibly in July which of course is a frequent bullish month for many stocks.
But with momo and IF it turns out that way might give PMs some upward momentum until the next month depending on what the dollar does.
Just have trailing stops ready.
