As far as drugs lack of pain management is what drew so many to illegal drugs and ruined their lives. They “ not all” caused needless pain and suffering by cutting them off too soon for fear of addiction or protocol and by addictions they caused then cut them off sending ones in chromic pain or now addicted to the back streets. They need another sector dedicated to pain management and quality of life. When it comes to severe back issues more focus on surgical procedure to get the pressure off the nerves that work. They have less invasive procedures here for somethings.
