Loading ...So, I sold 3000 West African Resources yesterday and find out today that beyond the commission Ameritrade has hit me up for a $44 “Foreign Security Fee.” This has never happened before. If they apply this to Canadian and Mexican stocks as well I’m screwed. I wonder if other brokerages have this “fee” as well?
If they don’t I may not be an Ameritrade customer for long.
