Interesting morning. Gold up a little, silver up 1% but both fading after being strong in the overnights. Oil taking it on the chin, down $1.20 and back under $79. Energy commodities are all down across the board. Wonder if it will translate into lower prices at the pump? Somehow, I doubt it.
The metal commodities are higher, copper, etc. a little surprising I suppose
The dollar is strong to start the day near 104, despite the 10 yr. being down 6 bips. No clue what that means but have to believe they’ll move closer to parity as the day goes on.
I think there’s some eco data this am, maybe PMI’s, but as we know, all eco data is meaningless now.
SM trying to rally again – whatever. NVDA comes out with earnings after the bell. All eyes will be focused on that. The only thing that matters is what the option markets are doing with regards to NVDA. I’d bet there are a lot of shorts, we’ll see if a squeeze is forthcoming.
