I know you cured your arthritis with boron years ago but talking to a friend Texas about guns but not that subject cuz they’ve been in a safe out of sight and mind. She has a little store there with health supplements and products. She know my hands are now next with neuropathy not as strong with grip and fingers too but keeps me going. She’s one you can’t keep down despite her doing everything now for herself and husband and good on her and keeps me going something too about giving up on guns next except my handgun but a hard pull that used to be pretty easy. Next to her store a gun store opened up. I though here we go, some girls shop for cloths other shoes, others purses but this cow girl it guns.
I knew what she was gonna say next. She told me about these Smith and Wesson easy pull guns some with safety’s some not and we both agree on safety’s. She has a conceal carry doesn’t need locks no time for that and no young kids around she keeps it on her anyways , she’s in ready as well as her husband, they have a few models. Her motto is it isn’t gonna do any good if it’s not with you if you need it which is true. They’re lighter guns too easer to carry. She’s got the 911 I wanted years back but there was fighting in California about how many shells a hand gun could use and during Obama hard to get either of guns and ammo and defense guns. Even light 22 home defense hollow points for hand guns only long gun ammo.
I don’t know what is going on there with guns and Trudeau around but just a FYI. Good for your wife to have. She hasn’t got to try it out yet so don’t know about accuracy or recoil.

Wow that’s strange. What was wrong with the cartilage or was it a gun, did you find out? That’s something!
These look fine not corroded and over 10 yrs ago so powder likely dry if any water got in. High gain in copper. They banned lead years back in Calif.
I didn’t oil them after I dried them that’s stress on bolts slides and who knows and quite a bit to then the try to get the oil back off. Busy times then but look good but just wonder if it changes something what happens if it did take in any water then and over 10 yrs later.
They were in wet soil not under water and in a bag cuz I was going to take them back out and during drought Calif but didn’t expect that that to happen. I thought about trying them out but just haven’t got out for that and plan on giving it away since it’s a military gun kind that’s passed down but I passed on the bayonet one, should of took it the way things are going now, Just don’t want to hand down bad ammo.
You have to register older military or any kind of guns now in Calif so they can find every gun out there in martial law except the criminals and the ones who already had them so in that respect they’re more valuable than just big game for a back up if you know what I mean.
goldielocks @ 16:02…I’d discard them! or if not that, take them to a shooting range and fire a test shot or two, making sure you find where the bullets hit the target. Here’s what once happened to me.
Moose hunting in BC I spotted a bull moose browsing along a creek about 200 yards away; an easy shot for my scoped 30:06 Remington Semi-Auto Game Master. I squeezed off the shot which did not sound or feel right (too muffled), and that moose didn’t even raise his head but just kept on browsing. I started to squeeze off the next shot but that’s when sanity kicked in and my Higher Power said “DON’T DO IT”, so I didn’t. Turned out that bullet was lodged 1/2 way down the barrel of the rifle, and the next shot would have killed me, since the rifle barrel would have blown up in my face.
If you think they got wet I’d throw them out, or do as I suggested in the heading and carefully test a couple of them to be sure they are okay.

Hey that reminds me with that purchase I buried I also put copper 30-06 bullets in with it. I still have them. It was good actually I guess when I ran into the pipe but took off work work didn’t discover the leak till the next day when my dog was using to for a drinking fountain and realized oh no dig them up and had to dry each one individually out of the containers and the bullets that kept their color but do you think it got into the bullets? I still have them I hope their still good.

To me it’s always been real ie phyz I saw the games early as wel as the big turns no one believed but the market is a hobby. Also there’s other priorities even before PMs.
Sheesh Bob
Good idea what you did but hope no lurker reading this finds out where your cottage is. Good idea about the pvc pipes. Your right about silver and when a hurry one day I found out the white containers they put the silver in aren’t waterproof. Maybe some what water resistant but not if a pipe breaks and likely my fault whild doing it in a hurry. Yikes
Hi Bob – thanks
Hi Bob – thanks for your reply and good advice, but unfortunately I am approaching an age where at some point I will need to convert physical to fiat to pay my living expenses.
My plan was for the mining stocks to do that job with dividends and capital gains, but the only people that made out with mining stocks have been the short sellers and the company managements.
I’m still convinced that fiat Ponzi scheme is nearing it’s inevitable demise, so even their 5% interest doesn’t interest me.
What I am looking for is a trustworthy, insured vaulting service that can serve as my bank. Texas and Utah have talked about doing it, but i don’t think they have actually done anything.

For quite a few years I buried mine on my cottage property and covered the location with a large boulder to forestall detection by metal detector. The area is remote and very difficult to access, and traffic was non-existent.
My hoard is all coins, so size wasn’t a problem. If you plan to bury the PMs install them into a PCV pipe with threaded ends, screw on caps using a non-hardening sealant as thread seal. If it’s gold only water leakage won’t matter but if silver the threads should be watertight.
Maya and Goldielocks
Maya, a big thumbs up on that. In this rigged world of corruption and greed the only winner will ultimately be the stacker IMO!
Goldielocks, if you’re happy making and losing pennies while your broker is making dollars off of you and all your trades, I wish you luck and success. Just remember that the rig is designed to fleece the unwary, and the “markets” are now a rigged casino but no longer a market IMO!

Hi Capt.; Hi Deer RE: COMEX Manipulation – the Solution is to Go Physical (your posts on 11/22/23 ~10 am)
Good comments – all well said.
A question re: “Go Physical”.
But not a good idea to keep more at home than you’d be willing to give up.
So if a person were to go physical in a big way where would a person store it?
All the vaulting services have exclusions in their insurance policies to protect them in case of “war; riot; civil insurrection; etc.” exactly the scenario that we are likely headed for. Most vaults are just glorified warehouse – hardly the impregnable fortresses portrayed in movies.
Any suggestions?

That is a confusing subject because your shares are supposed to be protected in a trust but then other things on the subject says they can be borrowed with commission but also can be stuck paying and dividends coming up so another reason the shares go up if shorts are getting out at that point and then get back in after the shares have been paid then profit on the drop. I wonder those who pay divis every month have less of a problem with that compared to paying quarterly to one time a year.
Not everyone has a margin account though but if you know what your doing especially if you trade every day you can make a lot of money.

Are we being played?
Of course we are! Anyone who cannot see that has cognitive dissonance problems.
With apologies to WOPR: The only way to win the game is to not play.
Stacking physical is “not playing”. Paper burns.
This is FYI and IMO and I have no proof of what I am about to say….but it is what I believe is happening in the markets.
On Line Brokers are consolidating/merging together. Why? Maybe because they have become extremely profitable? But How/why?
IMO it is because those On Line Brokers still offering their “services” have been “convinced” to allow those super computers, like Blackrock’s Aladdin, access to all their trades as they happen, as well as access to all the available margin accounts, like yours, not being used.
From there it is a simple computer program to make the opposite trade that the On Line Broker’s client has made. For example, you buy 1000 shares of XYX stock and the Super Computer sells/shorts 1000 shares of the same XYZ stock, thus cancelling your purchase.
Or if XYZ stock is meant to run up, the Super computer also buys it, using your own unused margin to do so.
In this way the Super computer has absolute control of all the markets, the On Line Broker becomes extremely profitable, and all the trades are covered using your own margin account with no naked shorting.
Something to think about if you’ve been wondering why the behavior of the markets has become so bizarre and make no sense.
Are you being played? All FWIW!
