Loading ...For quite a few years I buried mine on my cottage property and covered the location with a large boulder to forestall detection by metal detector. The area is remote and very difficult to access, and traffic was non-existent.
My hoard is all coins, so size wasn’t a problem. If you plan to bury the PMs install them into a PCV pipe with threaded ends, screw on caps using a non-hardening sealant as thread seal. If it’s gold only water leakage won’t matter but if silver the threads should be watertight.
