Yes it is!
In the meantime my iPhones dead. I think Im giving up on iPhones. They need a 10 yr warranty. Babysitting my grand son Im using his. I went to messages to message a few people and was wondering who these other people were.
Predators possibly on there. They come from these interactive game stations.
Like one from a guy acting like he’s a kid but says he’s staying in a motel he told him doesn’t talk like a kid and wants to hook up with him and wanted his picture. He’s 11 yrs old. He stopped talking to him.
Another kept texting him calling him another name till he said his name and didn’t know him and don’t live there but in Calif. And so forth. Told him don’t give your name or location to anyone not to mention the other ones. Another one wanted I’ll show you mine if if you show me yours. he stopped talking to him.
His moms gonna have to check his phone often or take it from him.
Happy Hour. ……. Ipso et al
Good evening everyone !!
I have contributed to three or four “Tent a Thons”. as I recall at about $100 a clip …….
I check in here everyday and it would be very sad to lose this connection
However I understand there is a time and financial commitment to the site admins
I would be happy to contribute $$ but wouldn’t have time or a rats ass of computer knowledge to pitch in any other way
Keep us posted …… !!!

No that’s just a function of liquidity.
The assholes in charge will never support PMs, commodities, or anything else that does not perpetuate their bubble economy(s).
So, they have lots of money to perpetuate their bubbles, but none for ‘commodities’ because that would reduce support for their tech stocks that can be spun on infinitum depending on how much fiat is available to keep the Ponzi going.
Of course, not everybody is stupid, so ‘commodities’ (especially PMs) maintain value, making them good candidates to sell when their precious tech stocks (and banks, et al) are going down, until they are forced to puke those up too – which tends to scare the crap out of the bankers – so they start printing with abandon – which causes them to lose control of PMs (all commodities).
So PMs get none of the printed currency at source when liquidity conditions are good, and none when it’s bad until central planners start printing again; and the idiot investing public realizes what is happening and starts directing more currency in their direction.
This normally takes about 6 months from a top. This is a double top in stocks (even if it goes a little higher), and the PM shares have absolutely no speculative bid in them thanks to these machinations, on top of other factors like bitcon sucking all the air out of the room, so nobody knows how long it will take for junior PM shares to bottom this time, but it may not take the full six months – or maybe it takes longer because this is a grand supercycle top. (extending hundreds of years back to the beginning of America)
Who knows. And I do think many poorly positioned juniors might not make it in 2024.
So pick them carefully if you are playing them.

That was beautiful. A good story to tell at Christmas.
Another Christmas miracle. They woke my son in law up they’ve been doing a little at a time few days and put him back under and took his breathing tube out this time. His mom and my daughter were there by his side and first thing he said is he loved them both. They didn’t know if he would recognize them or not. He’s going to be okay.

Thanks for sharing!
The message comes through loud and clear during these crazy times we live in!
Happy Holidays to all!
The Christmas Coat…I’m still in tears over the message this poem gives. If you pass it up, it’s your loss!

Sad news …..I have sent u an email……I am thinking hard about taking the Tent on…..

Thank you for your supportive words about son in law. It’s been a rough week, one thing after another but he has a good team working on him. Being on the other side it never occurred to me until this happened to learn that 90 % of heart attacks at home die. Of the remaining 10 percent there is a mixed amount of brain damage from mild to severe.
So far he’s following commands, his neuros are good and Ct scan is good: So a light at the end of a tunnel so far. Still few issues getting zapped 6 times he is doing well. With those 6 times his straight teeth the zapping the bottom teeth are crooked now. Tough young man that may have killed me not saved me.
So you and your wives please take a class on CPR. And if you can’t , watch a video together and learn the correct way to do it. The correct way to get air in the lungs not stomach and correct way to do compressions to push the blood through the heart. Step further a AED machine on hand optional.
Following a operators which they need better instructions I had to correct them or say thing on the correct way they can’t see when speaking to my daughter is like not knowing how to swim and talking a operator in a panic to give you instructions on how to swim when your drowning.
Also know the symptoms of both stroke and heart symptoms to get your self checked in the ER to prevent being at home and something like this happens. He had no symptoms unfortunately.

You shouldn’t have to foot the bill for this site by yourself. At the same time with the way things are it’s probably part of the reason people stopped posting especially if retired and current economics.
Also Aurum shouldn’t have to either.
Perhaps once a year a few of us on here can divide up the two costs on forward yearly and maybe someone who knows computers as well as you like Maya can help.
Another option and maybe better for everyone because anything can happen to anyone of us at anytime is to get paid advertisements. Okay everybody click a advertisement or two when you log on. You might wind up making money and again maybe someone here can help with any management things what ever they may be.

I am of the idea that interest rates will stay flat to up even though the stock market is looking over the abyss. While for the long term holders bullion is the best plan, for those of us that are so old that they have get the thrill in new places, the pm juniors are the place to trade. I would never buy and hold the juniors although that on occasion has been a fault when I look at a chart and remember when I sold way, way too soon. Still think of the names that have come and gone – the darlings of the moment. Still I could change my outlook at any time, but for now letting the government paper mature and holding cash, buying bullion, and trading the juniors is the order of the day, as Wanka was fond of saying.
Also, since folks think the pm stocks will initially follow the general market down, is that a contrary indicator. Perhaps.

Epstein’s list should be a doozey
Alot of men were hiding in the shadows of Ghislaine Maxwell, she’s in prison b/c of these guys. Time to expose them. I think it could cause the next presidential elections to have unexpected results. But I think the computers decide the outcome regardless. People may stop voting soon b/c they realize the magic hand controls the results in about 10 years is what I suspect.
@ Ipso RE: your 9:07 post- 🤞 say it ain’t so
While i can certainly understand your position, I hope you knowthat there are lots of people who don’t post, but do check in on a regular basis.
Speaking personally, this forum has been like a life preserver for me through many years of financial torment.
I am reminded of a quote – author unknown – “for a Bear Market to end, the last remaining Bull must give up hope” or something like that.
It seems like we are there now.
Whichever way you go, many thanks for your efforts – they were much appreciated
aurum @ 9:54
Now you know what it was like for me years ago. You can’t charge your subscribers for telling them to concentrate on bullion accumulation because it always outperforms the shares in the long run.
Nobody wants to hear about that 50 different ways to Sunday – over and over again – only to watch bitcon go to 70K in one of the most elaborate CIA psyops ever.
But you are right. After some continued volatility associated with a broad market pullback in the first half of the year, the shares will likely light up again (for several years) in the second half of 2024 as nominal interest rates crater.
If this site goes down there will literally not be another venue like it still around.
That would be a shame – but also likely a profound contrarian indicator.
I will try to post a little more if that helps.
Cheers
IPSO – I think folks will come flooding back soon
I think the financial institutions are teetering on the edge of an abyss . When they go down so will the stock market . As folks take a big hit , even the miners will temporarily be sold off by those who see PM’s as a relic , but then PM’s will regain favor . CB’s in China and India , etc. are accumulating .
I cannot take over . I am currently in South America caring for my wife who has severe memory issues ( advancing Alzheimer’s ) . That is why I post infrequently . To be honest , I am exhausted . Please hold on until after the holidays … even if it means a temporary holiday pause for the site for two weeks .
Examples that I owe to Oasis Forum
There are several stocks that I own that I would not have known about without the Forum. Many are up 20 – 50 percent. Stocks that I had never heard of, but when I looked at the chart seemed to be a bottoming pattern so I bought. If it progressed I added, if it didn’t I sold. I only sold 3 out of the 15 or so and those perhaps should not have been sold – just slow starters.
Anyway here is and example of one of the winners. It is due for a bit of a correction I would think. DYODD.

Future
I can’t say that I am surprised at your post. Yet I find it astonishing that the site would last through the long bear only to lose interest in the beginning of a bull.
I do not have the skills nor the desire to take over your job. I admire the job you have done and will miss reading with my morning coffee.
It is not a matter of money, I suppose, but should it be I would pay toward the amount needed.

I do hope some brave soul comes forward! I imagine they’d have to go into witness protection for the rest of their life!
It seems obvious that we no longer have enough people interested in posting here to have the Oasis remain a going concern
If someone would like to take over the operation then they should contact me through the email at bottom right. It’ll cost you about $24 a month to Dreamhost plus another $30 or $40 year for the Domain name. There is some housekeeping stuff that needs to be done regularly but doesn’t take much time.
Hopefully someone else will step up and keep the Oasis going.
Cheers
