I’ve got an imaginary “wallet” somewhere in the ether that contains my “money”, and it only works if the other guy has one, too, AND we can get to our “wallets” because the entire system is still up and running, now, today, when we need it… You’ve got to be kidding me. I agree that some future iteration of our civilization is going to look back on it and wonder what we were thinking, somewhat as we look upon some of the great manias of the past. Tulips, anyone?
