Loading ...Seems like activity is heating up around the Pacific rim , with the most intense earthquake of the day centered where three tectonic plates come together about a third of the way between Chile and New Zealand in the Pacific . I would expect some moderate tsunamis from that 6.3 event .
BTW , five occurred in mainland Alaska plus another on the Aleutian peninsula .
