I believe that. Gold is the end game, insurance. And I think they bash it down to buy it cheaper. The $2,000/oz past was always resistance. I think $2,000/oz is now the support area. Sooner or later Gold will break above $2100/oz and make new all time highs.
After that, the miners should follow. The Miners, obviously think the $2,000 resistance since 2020, will continue and gold will go lower. The idiots running things need to raise rates harder and faster to kill gold. But that would kill too many other inflation hedge things too.

At the current metal prices I think a case could be made that they are actually overvalued. Especially the silvers. Most of them just don’t make money, or if they do, their PE ratio’s are elevated. The last share I own is EXK, it’s down 50% since November. This stuff just keeps getting halved.
Their are a few exceptions that have done better, RGLD, AGI, not much else though. The problem is, their is nothing on the horizon that is bullish for the metals. Nothing is going to replace the dollar, it’s too easy to use and dominates the system. I don’t see rates coming down, why would they? Even if they did, the real beneficiary would be tech stocks or stocks in general.

deer79 – the miners are a bad joke. It should be illegal to invest in them. What worries me here is that gold is really out of whack with the HUI and silver I’m afraid that gold will be brought back down to reflect where the shares and silver are. The ratio’s are way out of whack.
Regardless, with silver up 1%, I don’t have a single silver share on my screen that is positive. Nothing quite like this bunch of garbage.
