the shorts carry on as if AU was nowhere near a record Hi……they could be absolutely killed here……as Gold is trading at records in loads of currencies and inflation is everywhere….plus the Chinese have nowhere else to hide money…..
Today SMR was shorted big time o/n down from $ 10 to $ 8.69 opening…..and then Wells Fargo put out a 4.50 tgt…..talk about hooky business.
Light volume today
anemic volume in the shares and also GLD and SLV. This smells like a raid to shake out weak hands before a decent move. Who knows? It could all just collapse again like it always has. Regardless, this is a pretty ridiculous, outsized hit on the shares vs. what’s happening to the metals. Gold is down a whopping $2.
I think HUI 225 needs to hold, but whether it will is anyone’s guess. There always seems to be an endless line of sellers in these shares and the algo’s literally sell 10 shares at a time to move them down.
Maddog – SMR
I don’t think they’re worth zero, but certainly are a long way from being profitable. Fluor has a lot invested in them, and the Gov’t. will probably pony up some cash along the way. It’s their technology that gives them their worth. Then again, there are others with similar tech out there, and these things are getting smaller.

RE SMR……That downgrade stinks of shorts trying it on….who are caught badly….either the stock is worth something decent or it is bust….it will run out of cash unless it gets a decent infusion soon and the letter of credit from the EXIM bank etc with Romania shud be enough to see it alright……so Wells Fargo saying it is only worth $ 4.50 is bs…either is it worth way up or nothing…..
I see UBS has just said it is worth $ 10….looks like it is in play big time…….

Funny, I haven’t watched SMR in awhile. Pretty volatile, down 40% today alone on a downgrade.
My premise for the stock is that small modular reactors will be the next thing in the nuclear industry and they should get their piece of the pie. Big players behind and partnering with them, but this could be years away.
I’m not sure what this world looks like in a few years – or even in a few months. My gut says big change is coming.
Fed meeting tomorrow
Hard to see them cutting unless there’s something rotting out below the surface that we don’t know about. If anything, inflation seems to be picking up.
Bitcoin taking a hit finally, only about $60K overvalued now.
Hopefully just a pre-Fed shaking of the tree of pm shares. They still haven’t done much considering the move up in the metals.
There are a lot of things aligning in the heavens over the next few weeks and none of them portend anything good is on the way.

After finishing watching the one below it is about PR as well as his own business.
I recognized it’s similarities after I talked to the police here before Trump about what was going on with them country wide and it’s gonna take one more insodent and there’s gonna be a shit hits the fan event. More than that but after they were doing PR stopped the road blocks etc all. There was no defund the police and no real serious problem when riots broke out everywhere and maintained rule of law much better.
