Morning Maddog

Posted by Buygold @ 7:58 on April 29, 2024

Makes sense. China is an interesting country. Some serious strengths, but also some serious weaknesses. As you say they are accumulating gold on a massive scale, but it almost appears to be a hedge for them to weaken their currency. They don’t have any apparent interest in backing the Yuan with anything tangible, but probably could if necessary.

Japan is strange. For some reason they are not getting the Zimbabwe treatment as their currency falls. Surely import prices are killing them, but it seems they somehow avoid inflation and have a wealthy populace. I’d think that energy prices would crush them, they import 85% of their oil. I don’t understand how they manage to do that. I imagine every country would be happy with a weak currency if they didn’t have inflation. 🙂

The Chinese bond rally cud be down to people just wanting to get yield and have the capital ‘safe’…their SM is lousy and not liable to recover much since Xi knocked the stuffing out…..I really think that Xi’s announcement that he is in for life and that the party will rule forever is a far bigger event than many realise….

Prior to that there was an understanding that the party would slide into the background, as society grew richer and the middle class expanded and that slowly they would become a ‘free’ society, like the west…the party was only hanging around, to ensure they did not descend into the chaos seen in Russia…..now after Xi …that all looks like lies….so either the party remains or it goes, but only after a civil war…..hence the need for Gold and Bonds…..

A couple of articles that caught my attention this am

Maddog may have the right idea about the falling Yen and where it’s going, which may cause China to devalue. What’s interesting though is the demand for Chinese bonds is off the charts good. I don’t understand how demand can be so good in the face of a potential devaluation.

How is inflation so tame in Japan as their currency hits 34 year lows?

Despite the crash in the Yen, the dollar is down this am against the Euro and Pound. What happens when the US tries to devalue?

I think these crosscurrents bear watching…or not. 🙂

China’s bond rally seems unstoppable amid a shortage of quality assets for investments. From government bonds to corporate debentures, traders keep hunting for yields in all maturities.

It would probably be easier to name a migrant or son or daughter of migrant of a different race or religion or  party association or all of above  that assimilated and put their new country first be business or political that worked out, than not but yet they keep putting them there.

Got this from an overseas friend…5 minutes speaks volumes IMO!

Bitcoin is now like guns n ammo buying when the lefties threaten the second amendment, the sales went up. Bitcoin can  get it out of greedy hands to other countries.  There some dogs running around in the US and Europe that need to be neutered.  In  other countries they see buying op too.

Summed up Russia China, El Salvador even Swiss are talking about safe havens again, many countries are going to tell America, ” If your to stupid to not stand up to your constitution, which I’m sure they saw a bit of that during Covid, them open borders, that’s your problem but we’re going to be standing up for ours. That’s what we’re gonna see.

Bitcoin ETFs are set to absorb the ownership of Bitcoin via lobbiest if you watched the video. Do they think all country’s will just go , oh here you go Blackrock or whomever ever,  take Bitcoin and you can give me your worthless pos ETF that you can now own and control my money instead of me for your self and throw away, that they could btw delist at any time and not what it was created for, not  in the control by some low life con artist ponzi scheme

RE: Bitcoin “Haircut” coming Tuesday

Posted by drb2 @ 15:36 on April 28, 2024

Hi Everyone – thanks for your comments.

The “haircut” terminology makes me question that this is a real event, but the good thing is that we won’t have long to wait!

Tuesday will be here before we know it.

I’ll lose a couple bucks on the deal, but it will be worth it to see these PM wannabees get their comeuppance.

It has long been my thought that the PM ETFs (and cybercurrencies) were created purposedly to absorb PM demand

This might be legit. Here’s a link to the entire document. I’d think that there’d be a rush out of Bitcoin and into gold, at least in a real market.

Try this for DTCC notice FWIW! IMO if there’s anything in those bags of crypto’s or ETF’s…it’s only hot air and horseshit!

If it’s about crypto watch this video. I got this video in a email couple of days ago. He has 20 yrs experience with Bitcoin and the evolution.

This one he called the war on Bitcoin. That the US doesn’t want you to own it.

He had live videos where you can ask him questions or talk to him.Hes very involved with it including legally. His name is Simon Dixon.

Yes. If that is true I’d think it would be a huge story. ZeroHedge is usually on top of things like that, so I wonder.

“Haircut” does seem like an odd term rather than the usual lawyerly jargon. Hoping it’s true, but suspect it’s not.

DRB2… I got it from a legitimate site but had to take a screenshot to copy and paste it here…so can’t say for sure!

Notice it also says in red underline the same applies to all ETF’s.

From reading the original ETF charters I have believed from the start that ETF’s were nothing but cash cow machines (bags of hot air) for TPTB Casino’s…. so I refused to have anything to do with them.  IMO all they do is track the value of the commodity or index etc they represent but do not own, and report the value of that commodity or index etc using the stock exchanges to do so. Now it appears I was correct and IMO the money put into ETF’s is being used by BlackRock’s super computer ALADDIN to control the markets. My speculation is that they have access to all the world trades as they happen, through the on-line Brokers (like Schwab) who are consolidating so there are fewer and fewer of them, so you buy, say, 100 shares of XYZ and they don’t want it to go up, they sell (short) XYZ 100 shares so it goes nowhere. Absolute control! Since BlackRock now owns or controls more than half of all the world ETF’s….and if I am correct that these ETF’s are actually worthless POS, it makes sense that DTCC would value them at their actual value, which is -0-.

So I have gone to almost all “PHYZ IN HAND”, expecting at some point these Casino houses of cards will come tumbling down, and when they do, TPTB will save the day with their new one world digital currency….the only one that will be allowed…..and if you’re a good little puppet and do what you’re told…how you’re told, and when you’re told…you’ll get your monthly stipend….but….you’ll own nothing… and you’ll be happy. All FWIW from SNG!

Maybe veterinarians will be on to something and get a secondary specialist license for humans. Lol

I’m glad you survived throat cancer. No cancer is good but ones with pain or inability to breath talk or eat can be rough. I helped a male friend with he and his brothers father with that because he wanted to die at home. They wanted to pay me but I passed as I was friends with them so met the nurse there. He had to have TPN which is a more complicated nutritional IV that his 80 year old mother was having trouble learning in one setting. That’s really not enough time.  Luckily she learned at her age she was still pretty smart. That resulted (Finally) in changes with CPR. I had to explain to this nurse at the house that sudden choking, injuries, secondary issues as say a infection should not count as do nothing. That came from her comment asking why would she need to call a ambulance for something. What they meant say if he falls in a coma or declines due to cancer and he dies is what it was meant not to revive him with cause being the cancer. It finally got put on DNR paperwork options as yes or no to this or that. I was going round and round with that for awhile as they were not the only ones so it depended on the nurse.

Ps Common sense, if it’s anything I mentioned or needing oxygen too it means their not dead yet. What is CPR! Sheesh

This means that cryptos no longer have Tier 1 status, but a zero collateral value, therefor cannot be used as collateral for loans etc.
It may affect desire to hold cryptos.

I had throat cancer 5 years ago. For the last 3 years, I’ve used Fenbendazole prophylactically to prevent recurrence. It worked (in that I’m still cancer-free) with negligible side effects. I weigh about 150 lbs and use approx 12-15 mg of horsepaste 3 times per week for 10 weeks, then repeat after a few months. It actually tastes okay! 🙂

No thank you for that info. I saw things but not enough info till I saw that video. Too bad a few people here hadn’t learned about it like ororeef and more.

With DD on SE and any interactions with medicine or supplements I wonder if that could be a prophylactic.  I do wonder what roll pesticides, chemicals and even tobacco is used as a pesticide as well as viruses and parasites and cancer and anti parasitics roll.
