I see the dollar is inching back. Just noticed oil is up almost $2 back near $80.

Funny, rates are up, ten yr. up 7 ticks back above 4.53%. Surprised the dollar is a little weaker and pm’s aren’t getting worked over. Bitcoin is down 2% though. Nice day for silver but no signs of the Crimex breaking just yet.

Somehow the HUI is up 2% with NEM up only .48%.

Not too confident in a strong close here folks, except for NVDA, which goes up every day.

My theory is that ever since Xi announced he was in for life and that the Party would rule forever, the average Chinese has downed tools, they just aren’t bothered to do that extra bit, consequently the economy is soft and will stay soft.

That leaves only Real Estate and PM’s to invest in….Real Estate is also bust….hence the Chinese are buying PM’s.

I guess the way things were then I helped a few people and after that one you learn desperate people who aren’t secure where they’re next meal will be you can’t trust. Gold’s big run in late 70’s, early 80’s came amid big rate hikes. I think a hike up to 10-15% might do it, but that would do two things, further destroy what’s left of the economy and two force them to admit they were wrong. I don’t think these arrogant idiots will ever admit that.

The dollar is not recovering today and the shares are finally starting to move.

That includes foreigners too.including white.  Depending on their education and track record and attitudes towards Americans.

They just had something out on UCLA equity ideas in medical isn’t working. Question is does that include the instructors too. Then it will result in neglect of some students hard working and  gifted and marking up grades of ones that aren’t and call it equity.

Only a market down turn or a rate hike can hold it back imo. I don’t think we’ll get a rate hike less they want to bring the market down. They’ll just have some transitory excuse and getting ahead of things if they do lower rates. With real estate apparently doing okay right now and still way over priced they don’t really need to bring it down until maybe after summer if they want to keep election time window dressing up.

The good news is the dollar in short term is making a head and shoulders while gold is making a reverse head and shoulders if it drops a bit to complete a pattern as of about now.

Isreal killed family’s including children again, always and consistently a accident again. Maybe someone should accidently drop on on their family, accidently of course. They could put the hostages there but I don’t think they care about them either. They just want Gaza.

Was sort of hoping that the longs were playing some rope-a-dope but if the dollar ticks up a penny, they hit us. Shares can’t get going, although some of the silver shares have been strong so far.

I just don’t think it should be such a struggle for the large cap golds.

They dumped at the open and are hitting some of the shares, but hopefully we’ll start finding our bearings.
