Is it out of the question that there could be a false flag blaming “MAGA”?
Update (1710ET): Former President Donald Trump has been found guilty on all 34 counts in his New York ‘hush money’ trial. The outcome makes him the first former president to become a convicted felon.
Trump reportedly stared ahead motionless as the verdict was read.

Yes, they were down, but not big on a % basis. I guess the thing is, for the first time in a long time I can remember, bad news was bad news for the SM. GDP was weak, and not even a weaker dollar and lower rates seemed to help them. That’s unusual to me.
The other thing that’s unusual was that pm shares and the HUI were up. I suspect if silver had done even a little better, the shares would have done much better. Gold was weak considering the dollar. So, what gives here? Are the shares forecasting higher metals or was this just a meaningless one off?
NVDA was down $50, course considering the run up, that’s nothin’. I think though that underneath the NVDA’s, AI stocks and the large caps, things aren’t all that healthy. Makes me wonder about the banks too, housing numbers were hideous. We know CRE is big trouble for them. This would be an odd time for a meltdown, but if the Fed needed a reason to cut in a couple weeks, they might get it.
Sorry, just thinking out loud.
Consumer prices. Besides letting go of a storage unit yesterday I haven visited in years to find a inch of dust covering everything and anything that got swept under the pull down doors plus finding the seam of one side spit open where I could see into the unit next to me emptied and swept out one bill gone I found there’s better deals going on out there next.
I next went to Metro PCs now linked to T-Mobile but I stayed with metro a local phone service here to change my plan since retired. I got a 60 a month changed to a 25 month plan that included 15 for unlimited phone, text and 2 gigs of internet and a iPad and can use your own by changing the SIM card or there’s for 10 dollars a month with unlimited Internet where you can use your phone on it or get a extra limited free number according to my daughter but unlimited data you can take anywhere. I don’t know if it was because there was no one at Metro that could change my plan when I went there management had left plus these answering service people from other countries who they put there to argue and try to haggle with you like your at the fish market that they’ll loose anyways that Pizzed me off but the supervisor gave me that plan.So two devices that equal unlimited phone text and internet on the iPad is a pretty good deal. In the long run it may bring some consumer prices down plus if women can sew and design their own cloths and there things you can do to bring utilities down depending on how much work you put into it and grow some food you would regularly buy. For now gas prices are only down a little bit but that’s ever changing.
Anyways Metro PCs 15 month iPad 10 month unlimited Internet data.
It’s a reverse kamikaze!
the same money supply games they’ve played since the Fed’s inception.
I looked over the eco data this am. Funny thing, corporate profits rose 10.9% vs the expected 8.4%. So not only do we have inflation crushing us, but the large corporations are also hosing us at a time when we can least afford it. I suppose this is what we get in crony capitalism.
After reaching 23% in March, the bills proportion of total debt fell back to 22.2% in April, the biggest monthly drop since March 2023. The Yellen pivot is fading…
The result of course was an immediate hit to the metals, or was it because the QQQ’s went down a little more?
The HUI lost 2 pts. but still standing strong while the metals underperform the dollar – per the norm.
Hope things hold up into the close, but we’ll see.
Still no volume which to me is not good for us.
I guess if anyone understands the idea of suicide, then the Japanese do !!!!!
Mitsubishi pulled out of Europe and I think the US, due to the endless chaos over Nut Zero..
Japanese car makers join forces to develop small internal combustion engines in latest major EV shun
Three of Japan’s biggest car makers have shunned electric vehicles and vowed to achieve carbon neutrality by developing cleaner internal combustion engines (ICE).
Toyota, Mazda and Subaru announced in Tokyo this week they will commit to bringing to market smaller engines to use alongside hybrid technology and adopt green biofuels to lower vehicle emissions.
Toyota, the world’s biggest car seller, described its new compact ICE as ‘an engine reborn’.
Dollar just won’t die quite yet.
I’m impressed by the action in the HUI and gold stocks today. They are bucking the SM for the most part and recouping the losses from yesterday, so far anyway. Impressive because silver is taking a hit and gold is barely breathing.
The shares have to start leading, or at least outperform the metals.
almost 1% lower than expected. GDP came in at 1.3% vs. expectations of 2.2%.
Consumption tanked bigly. The Obama government and Fed has broken everyone as intended.
Hopefully, pm’s take their cue from the dollar and silver comes all the way back. PM shares look especially good here in the face of a weaker SM and yesterday was a big, low volume head fake.
We’re only in the first half hour but I’m feeling hopeful so far. That can change… 🙂
In UK you can spread Islam and give away copies of Koran but if you do same with Gospel you will be arrested. British politicians have sold out UK to Arabs. Very dark times ahead.

Silver getting hammered, although that’s not a big surprise given the action in the shares yesterday. Gold trying to stay flat, that’s a surprise. Shares not looking that bad in the premarket, which is also a surprise given that the SM – especially the DOW – looks to open lower.
The dollar is weaker this am, the Yen is rallying for some reason. The 10 yr. is down a couple ticks.
Eco data this am could matter. GDP comes out with estimates of 2.2%. Hard for me to see it being anywhere near that strong given the regional reports, Dallas and Atlanta Fed, Empire State, etc. However, Biden may need a strong report. The Fed, if planning to cut would like a weak report I’m guessing. Regardless of the number, things in this once great country are crumbling. Everything is a lie, literally everything.
So, we wait, being subject to the market demons of this world, whose sole purpose is graft and theft of our remaining assets.
Hoping for a weak GDP. 🙂
