Creeping up this am
Got up early this am – 4 am EST. Checked Kitco as usual. We’ve steadily moved up to the highs of the morning for the last half hour or so. Not jumping, just a steady push.
Silver up 1% sitting at the $28.98 level, only about $.75 from the spike highs from several weeks ago but not nearly as overbought. Chart actually looks really bullish. Don’t know what the fight will look like here at $29.
Gold is up $16. Chart on it looks good too but of course the moves aren’t so dramatic.
I’ve got to think that if the metals keep grinding higher the shares will pop. HUI 280 is a big level.
It’s ridiculously early and we’ve got another flation report so we’ll see.

Indeed, the large ‘Class 1’ railroads have fueling and locomotive service at their yards that originate trains. But not so with smaller, regional lines that may not have more than one base yard, and they need to extend out some distance to deliver the goods. Yes, it is not uncommon for them to buy fuel ‘out on the road’ like this.

Was out to dinner with son and daughter in law. The 100 day cough conversation came up. My daughter in law said that news out that the Dpt vaccine was changed because someone sued. About time. Because it was changed they believe this is the cause. However both my friend and my step granddaughter are vaccinated from Pertussis so that would mean that one didn’t work either and where’s it coming from? More unanswered questions.

I’d really like to see a “GameStop” kind of day in a few of these stocks and 10-20% in pm’s. Didn’t seem to be a problem for Bitcoin, but when gold goes up 10% in a couple of months making double-digit gains, articles come out about it being oversold.

Just because the shares are not rising does not mean that they are not being accumulated.
If that was the case, then the shares should have been up when they were being accumulated (by who?).
First you get the sophisticated speculators and value investors accumulating.
Then the institutions, which we are seeing now in initial stages.
Then, and only then, we get the public. That is when market makers will allow wholesale price mark-ups and momentum to explode – encouraging the dumb money to buy in.
We are simply not there yet.
Should be soon though.
A move to $2700 gold $50 silver should wake them up to some degree.

Seems there would have to be those that are “in the know” and would be accumulating the shares in advance, but we’re not seeing that yet.
