Loading ...QQQ’s look to open down 1.7% after GOOG announced better than expected top and bottom line earnings. It’s down 3.5% in premarket. I remember 2001 like it was yesterday. The.com rally ended when companies reported good results but the stocks starting moving lower anyway. Even blue chips like GOOG. No idea whether the SM rally is ending but not a good sign.
Surpringly, pm’s are steady this am with the dollar still strong and up a little. Silver still the weak sister is flat. Shares are steady early in the pre market. Seems positive with the SM futures down. Shares are little more than an indicator for me anymore, sadly.
Rates flat, oil up a little but back below $78. Looks like the Wall Street crowd may try to help make the inflation look “not as bad” which would give the Fed an out to cut. Let’s hope so anyway.
