All I can do is echo your concerns.  Current migrations/immigrations everywhere are so different from those of the past. It looks bleak to me, and it’s not because I am a pessimist; just a realist who refuses to wear blinders. Maybe the countries being invaded will wake up in time; we can hope. There seem to be at least some signs of that. Not easy to reverse an entrenched population, though. It will take understanding, resolve, and fortitude; is there enough of that to go around?

Maddog – it’s an absolute tragedy what’s happening in the UK, both with the government and society. I don’t have the capacity to understand the kind of mindset (evil) that Starmer embraces. Clearly, the gov’t. is handing over the country to the invaders, but at the same time strengthening gov’t workers by pay increases and a better standard of living than the average Brit to keep them happy enough to enforce the plan. The police are a traitorous disgrace, enabling the destruction of white culture and white peoples. I believe that in addition to throwing you into the slavery of the one world government, there will also be a one world religion that involves Muslims, Catholics (the current pope is a heretic), and Protestants that are accepting of non-biblical culture, i.e. LGBTQ and abortion, which are outside anything remotely Christian. It will be an all-inclusive and accepting religion. Essentially anti-Christ. Without the populace being armed, it will be tough to turn. I suspect what you’re seeing is what we’ll see here if they install Kamala Harris. It still remains to be seen whether a large enough percentage of the US population would give up certain comforts and take up arms. I don’t know.

Captain – no doubt they knew the numbers and were ready, I’d argue that they’ve been ready all week, and if they could have manufactured a waterfall, they would have done so already. They still might if they get a dollar bounce that runs longs out of contracts. I could see that happening when Powell speaks – totally contrary. It does seem clear that they are getting less and less effective, more so with silver than gold. They will have trouble if US investors ever wake up to the gold market. For now, they can just slow the ascent, frustrating to watch when the dollar has been taken to the woodshed. It also appears the Yen carry has resumed its’ unwind, that is a long running program that I’m not sure we know what will happen and who will be hurt by it. Seems that we are just going to grind slowly higher, at least that’s what the shares are saying.

I see Bitcoin is jumping tonight, over $61K up 4% – look over here, this goes up fast! Oil below $72, just bizarro world.

That foolishness might be blocked yet … otherwise they are torpedoing a significant piece of their economy!

You know the dollar has a problem, when it falls against Sterling…the new government is not just dictatorial, they are economically cretinous, they are currently handing out huge pay rises to non productive government workers, Junior Doctors and Train drivers…all of whom are saying tks, we want way more…..Meanwhile they …the government show no inkling as to where any of that money will come from ……

The productive side of the economy, is meanwhile crapping itself waiting for the tax rises……

They hammered everything earlier…but the buying just said tks…anymore !!!! and then bid the mkt back up……

Not sure how much longer they can keep a lid on the shares…they are the bargain of the century down here.

the dollar has finally weighed in on the metals as it plunged petty quickly in about 10 minutes to the lows of the day, now down 1/2%. I think it’s down 2% since Monday.

Seems like a fairly big move for the world’s reserve currency. Not sure if one of the Fed heads came out and said something about a potential 50 basis point cut or if the dollar is finally ready to go into the fiat dustbin of history, but funny that it occurred after the Crimex close. Dollar now down nicely below the 200 dma, seems a bounce can’t be too far off – unless this is something else.

Tech and pm shares seem to like a weaker dollar. HUI up 1% despite GFI being a drag on the index. For some unknown reason it’s down 3% and was down almost 5%. That is a weird stock. It will be up 4% in the morning for no reason.

It can’t be long before the juniors start to get some action can it?

I just heard from one of the CNBC snippets that the revision was 667K from January to March. This is huge if correct.

Apparently we are waiting for a revision to the jobs report for the last year. So far they are having “trouble” getting the numbers out. They were able to get out the revised unemployment rate from the last 6 months and it jumped from 3.7% to 4.3%. Clearly all the numbers we’ve gotten have been bogus.

We’ll see how much they revise down the jobs.

Thanks for the post. That IS a sad thing … in many areas the Brits are living in a country which doesn’t seem to be theirs any longer. The imposition of Sharia law really irks me. Like you said if immigrants are willing to adopt the mores of the host country that is one thing but many of these people coming in do not want to assimilate and are seemingly barbarians. The manners and restraint of the host people are seen as weakness. The leaders who have done this are traitors and the future havoc they have imported is outrageous!

As a limey down under, I’d like to think so but it’s difficult to see how it will happen. So much migration of vastly different cultures unlike anything before. When we had black people from the Caribbean come, they were already british, but still with their own sub-culture. Many Pakistani and Indian people in the 20th century still came with an element of British culture and norms. But the mass, unchecked, unregulated influx of the last few years under govts of both sides (hohoho, one side, different colours: a chameleon government) is likely to change things for ever. No sub-cultures here, no assimilation but insistence on their own culture. I was back in Rochdale, my home town, in 2008 and already there were no-go areas controlled by Muslim Pakistanis, no assimilation there. The funniest thing was the Sikh taxi driver (it was unsafe to walk home from the pub) complaining bitterly about all the foreigners in Rochdale nowadays – in his heavy Indian accent! And that’s fine; hard working migrants wanting to live in Rochdale as Rochdalians and contribute to society are welcome, rather than running white girl grooming and rape gangs.

And now you can’t even complain about it. How can it ever change? Especially with two tier Keir at the helm. So sad.
