My daughters in bad shape with deep tissue damage including muscle that only looks like a bruise from the outside but has her other check for heat and it got hot so she went back in and and infection if her fractured bone. If it has a biofilm ” bacteria’ I hope they treated that somehow like antibiotic infused cement was one way so it doesn’t infect new plates. Her nurse doesn’t know what’s going on and doesn’t speak English well so had to put the pieces together. Had some issues with her care over that. If it doesn’t heal she could lose her leg.
Yours should go more smoothly though except turning you have to be careful and not on the side of surgery. Make sure they keep you straight like a log.
