Seems like usually right before a takedown

Please forgive me if I am off base, but I have a vague recollection that you once said you traded in the Futures Market.

If so, I saw something tonight that triggered another memory from long ago – very briefly here it is.

Going way back to the days of GATA, as gold was making its climb from the low $300s, every so often there would be a “blip” in trading – almost exactly like the blip in the screen shot below.  There was much speculation among the true believers that this was a signal from the enemy to their members indicating the direction and target of gold’s price.

If you have any thoughts on the subject you’d like to share, I would be interested to hear them.

The only thing I see stopping the SM would be if they just pulled the plug on it. Otherwise, it seems they can do whatever they want with it, whenever they want, much like the pm market.  I’m hoping your boy Rafi Farber has it right about the repo market, that may be the only thing that can tank the dollar. Crazy town.

IMHO, the only thing that has changed is the PERCEPTION that Trump is going to be able to fix the economy, and will be able to diminish, and/or eliminate the wars that are raging.

I think the economy is unrepairable, and the piper will have to be paid, before we can start to rebuild a more solid foundation.

Is a 10, 15, or 20% correction in the PM’s then warranted?????

Originally I thought $2650 would be a bottom, now I don’t know. I remember the last time Trump got elected gold went down. Because of less worry about the economy. Also he said don’t worry about your guns, and my Smith & Wesson stock dropped because everybody stopped panic buying guns. Plus the idiot US Dollar fed note keeps climbing. Its up near prior resistance at 106 hopefully it will start dropping soon.

Risk assets will have a tailwind during the Trump honeymoon, which will sputter out some time around the inauguration in January.

Then reality will become more important again.

PMs will become more important again.

In the meantime, gold could vex $2300 and silver $26 – the cost of production (again).

Deer79 – one thing Dowd mentions is the complete manipulation of the SM and unfortunately how he thinks gold has topped for awhile. I gotta wonder where all the buyers went overnight in less than a week.

Siphoning off any progress we in the PM camp make for years now. Bitcoin is the biggest threat on earth, no way to control it, back by nothing, and fools that buy it at every dip. No way to short it. FML.

How many times has a PM metal broken out of a bull formation and then suddenly reversed back into it, for no reason…..notice how Bitcrap has been ‘allowed’ to explode out of the bull flag and keep right on going……

I don’t know why they’re only 3 choices. I do have a feeling with all the people who crossed party’s to vote for Trump and no all had enough trust to go straight ticket will be watching. I have a feeling the demos will be laying in wait for whomever it is to go into attack. Maybe that’s why people don’t want the job. Who ever it is had to be trusted to work with Trump but their own party needs to trust them too. I’d prefer someone like Tulsi.

Third eye is testing the waters today with one of the GDX es I don’t remember which one because he knows a lot about Bitcoin now too and my couple PMs already hit a sell signal but what was going on with Bitcoin. He could be in and out of something fast though.too

Currently, I don’t trust Scott. Very, very few politicians are worthy of trust.
But I will be open-minded about him. Especially if Trump supports him. Although we have seen that sometimes Trump has been wrong, or supported someone to expose them.
