They brought it back down today, planning for it to land in the Gulf of Mexico, but something changed and they ended up landing it in the Indian ocean where it flopped over on its side…. and last I saw was still burning profusely. They said they had no plans to try to recover or reuse any of it. All FWIW!
If any of this is incorrect I hope eeos will correct me. SnG

I believe it takes a 2/3rds majority because it’s a Constitutional Amendment, the first thing they need to do is square up the voting and election laws. The Republicans should have a huge majority in both houses right now, but because of Dem cheating, they barely have the edge. We know that because of late counting the Republicans lost at least 15 House seats, and 4 Senate seats. There was a company that estimated that the Demons added 11 million fraudulent votes before the election started.
This stuff has happened repeatedly since the 2020 election. 3 elections and a ton of seats lost. Stop that first, and then the pieces will fall into place to get rid of the Fed.
Otherwise, agree 100%. That is the Globalists power base. The head of the snake.

End the Fed , get our nation out of NATO and the UN (particularly WHO) !
You must follow Ron Paul as I do .
He was about the only congressman who , through his tenure in Congress , was skipped by the K Street lobbyists , because he was not for sale.

I’m surprised by this. Rates only down 3 bips and the dollar flat.
Wondering if we’ve turned the corner. We shouldn’t have to face much in the way of tax loss selling. It’s sure time for the dollar to pause and bonds to rally.
Tech and Bitcoin are just ridiculous. Seems the world is just awash in money and it’s all going into those two things.

LOL If we get rewarded commensurate with our suffering we’re going to do very well!

The Founding Fathers abhorred a central bank. The global bozos started hammering it out in 1907, and got it pushed thru Congress in 1913, so the USA can finance wars and pay interest to the bankers.
The next day, they invented the Income Tax. Taxes were only supposed to be paid on profits. Plus tariffs. Soon after the bozo bankers got us into WW I in 1917. Created tons of fake money and caused the roaring twenties, which ended with a ten year depression.
Then after that, in 1934 they took in all the gold at $20 outlawed it, and raised it to $34, so they could leverage it up for WW II, Korea Vietnam etc etc. The Fed Res says their job is to maintain jobs and price stability.
They obviously failed and need to be fired. They have 400 members supposedly 90% liberals.
And after that, get us out of the United Nations, and NATO. Its time for a divorce.

Yep, PM investing is not for the faint-of-heart, that’s for sure. Explorers especially. But even some of the bigger boys take outsized hits as well (NEM; SSRM; Victoria Gold) .
Yet we plod on, inch by inch. ‘One day we will be rewarded for our pain’ is my mantra🙂

I’ve owned some of those waterfall stocks. Not much fun! Some of them come back eventually. I don’t know about this one. I’m sure there’s going to be some giant legal moves against Mali. The investing climate in West Africa has sure changed for the worse. What miner would invest a nickel more there now?

Ouch! Gold Mining is definitely a tough business!
I’m shocked that I didn’t own a boatload of their stock.
Sorry for those that did.

I see. After all, nobody needs gold.🥲
Did Germany end up banning the AFD party? I actually feel sorry for the UK and Europe, the good people have zero representation it seems. I hope Trump really leans on them and starts endorsing some of the anti Globalist leaders like LePen and Farage, whoever is willing to lead them out of the mess over there.
I may have misread the pm market, all of a sudden it seems to be coming to life.

Re Troillus
I think they want the Copper, as they have to rewire their grid, just like everyone else…if they go Nut Zero…..which in Germany’s case may get delayed/cancelled, after the upcoming elections.

Whatever the reason it is interesting and done with foreknowledge and insight.
This is a weird day for pm’s.
SM and Bitcoin doing what they always do, going up while we spin our wheels.
War has never been good for gold, so no need for war.🤔

It looks like Sweden and Finland are putting in another $500 million for that same Troilus project.
It’s in today’s news.

It is a puzzler. Maybe they just think it’s a good investment … diversification. Don’t they want more of our Treasury debt?
That would be something if other countries started investing in gold miners!

@ 10:24 on November 19, 2024
That would seem to be big news. Especially for a country that pushes the climate agenda so hard. Why would they need gold?

Although the dollar has turned higher and we’re not doing horribly.
They didn’t hesitate to get a bid under the QQQ’s. I think maybe the market is rethinking the seriousness of the Ukraine situation. Seems above everything else, these people worship the idol of money.

Agree. These neocon’s, neoliberal Globalists exhaust me. There’s no other way to describe them than just evil. We need to send every Congress member and their families to Ukraine and put them on the frontlines. Empty out the Pentagon desk jockeys and do the same. CIA as well, but start at the top of the ladder in all departments.
Then the same with defense contractors and their CEO’s and top tier employees.
Then maybe they’d hesitate to send other people’s kids to war.

Perth mining company pays $247m to free CEO in Mali
APerth-headquartered goldminer has agreed to give $247 million – more than its entire cash reserves – to the government of Mali after its chief executive and two other employees were detained by authorities in the West African country.
Resolute Mining CEO Terence Holohan and the other two employees were unexpectedly detained on November 8 in Mali’s capital of Bamako, at the conclusion of a meeting with government mining and tax officials.

UK: An estimated 40,000 farmers are currently en route to London, furious about the government’s new 20% inheritance tax on farms, which will leave countless farmers with no option but to sell their farms.
“Farmers will be liable for inheritance tax at 20% on farms worth more than a million pounds. They claim it will force many to sell up to pay the bill.”
“Farmers will be withholding meat and crops from supermarkets in the days ahead, and say that if they’re not listened to, there will be more action to come.”
