Loading ...When the lights go out no one can buy because they no longer use manual cash registers but electronic and most people don’t use much cash but cards. Also the gas and EV cars will be cut off as they require power too. The banks will also be closed. Cashier’s can’t accept silver to buy food other than face value. A pre 65 dime quarter or half dollars will be face value as well as the one dollar one ounce. It wouldn’t be good for anybody. Then after too long the looting will start so if you know it’s going to be a long time probably best to get away from the city’s. Now if you knew a farmer or two you might get a couple of things but that’s it.
