The only thing you need to understand about Trump is he is a fake joo … like the rest of the money grubber billionaires. It’s been like this for thousands of years. The only thing they really worship is money.

These types don’t care about anything but money and power – and they will do anything to get it – with lying and deceit at the top of the list. Crypto – no problem – it will get everyone use to the concept of ‘secure transactions’ while you lose your privacy and property rights. But they have to be clever about it. If they fail the trick is to not get hung.

So, they have to get rid of America because it stands in their way. The states are beginning to see they are not part of the formula and are fighting back. Let’s hope they are successful.

And it looks like the Euro dream is failing big time too. If you see the union break up it’s all over for the globalists.

That’s the biggest and most important thing going on right now – the failing Euro experiment.

A cold winter could go a long way to aiding this failure if energy prices surge – further exposing these commie C’s for what they really are – maroons – as Bugs Bunny would say.

Interesting times.

Cheers

I’m looking forward to seeing more acquisitions … and the bigger the premium the better!

If $14.60 is a normal price for gold in the ground then we may see more acquisitions soon …

( obviously other factors come into play, primarily how cheaply the gold can be mined, state of development, jurisdiction etc )

That’s because accelerating inflation is good for the economy.

Didn’t you know that?

Where have you been?

Your a level headed and like many here a seasoned trader. I agree with not holding long any stock. I just trade for hobby now and don’t even watch them every day anymore.  Some may have done well in solid equity or S&P  index long but gave it back a few times.  I know what you mean about hearing gold going through the roof. Pento doesn’t hold it long either and trades current phases. He doesn’t trade for the future where anything could happen but has good insight on why it could happen but stays open minded. I think he’s right about staying awake right .now.

He may explain why Armstrong said you’ll need gold in the future to live wouldn’t say why he said that

Certainly nice to see a junior getting taken over by a larger miner. Hard to tell if it’s a “fair” price or not. Borealis’ news statement claims “an acquisition price of approximately $.60 per Gold Bull share (closed yesterday at .326) or a ratio of .93 Borealis shares for each Gold Bull share (Borealis closed at .65 Canadian, which works out to .46 in US dollars).

A premium, yes, but perhaps not so much……

I would hope the Chinese are back in. Hard to see any real movement before the Fed meeting but ya never know what they have planned.

CPI numbers were all in-line with expectations.

Ridiculous! A form of corruption!

Aufever – Trump

Posted by Buygold @ 9:15 on December 11, 2024

I think Trump is a Zionist with regard to Israel’s right to their land and the defense thereof and he fully supports their defense. No idea if he is a mason. George Washington was a mason.

It seems the folks that told us there was no way Trump would be allowed to be president are now defaulting to Trump is part of the Globalist plan. Or worse, the anti-Christ.

There are a lot of factions within the Globalist party, I don’t think Trump is one of the “Luciferian, Globalist, pedophile” elite like most of them, nor do I believe he is one of them. Time will tell, and he has some proving to do. He has some good people surrounding him and believe it or not there are some decent people in the world.

I’d like to hear from the Captain whether he agrees with Rogers-Webb’s assertion that the American people are duped time after time because of their Judeo-Christian culture that began somehow began with the killing of animals.

It is possible to be right about financial things (as he is about stocks not being our property) and be a raving lunatic at the same time like Rogers-Webb. The need to be right and feel superior is a powerful drug. Pride is ruinous.

Physical metal in your possession would seem to be the solution to what he rightly asserts is happening in the financial system.

Nice pop for Gold Bull Resources … being taken out by Borealis. They’re paying $14.60 an oz (indicated) Seems low …

Pms

Posted by aurum @ 8:57 on December 11, 2024

My posts explained how I have traded pm stocks.  I have also invested in pms.  We have physical gold that we have bought and held with a cost basis below 800.  Now if you divide the gain over the decades it is not that great.  But the physical is there and there is a good gain.  I can’t think of any pm stock I would just buy and hold.  I had thought that about NEM because of the dividend but now the yield is not competitive and the chart turned ugly.  Glad I sold when I did.  I know some like the big conglomerates to buy and hold.  Russell was a fan of that idea.  But so far it seems it has not worked.  Nancy also invested that way.

they tried to take out $ 2700…but so far have failed….no matter the No’s.

Lets see if the Chinese were buying o/n…that we never really backed off o/n. suggests they were indeed buyers.

I’m guessing the numbers were in-line

Posted by Buygold @ 8:44 on December 11, 2024

No real effect on pm’s or anything else, although the dollar is slipping. I think “in-line” is good enough for a .25 cut by the Fed next week, which in turn is good enough for a pop in tech, but not good enough to send gold up through $2700. Silver sinking well below $32 now.

The shares though are surprisingly firm, so maybe it will change before they go back down.

Market watch doesn’t have the actual numbers up yet, but I’ll post when they do.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I have heard gold going through the roof.  It probably will happen some time, but I won’t hopium on it.

As far as stops, I have no hard stops set.  After the open and before the close I run through the charts for my positions and sometimes the charts of my watch list to see how the stock is acting.  Probably something to do with aging, but I find myself being influenced by my mood sometimes buying too much or selling too much.

I only sell on the open if some news that could be negative is shown on ipso’s list.  Otherwise I wait for at least the first hour to act.  I have quit trading the overnight market because even using limit orders it has not worked for me.

Posted by Buygold @ 8:26 on December 11, 2024

Dollar up nicely, Rates up 2 bips. PM’s mixed, with the weak sister silver down per the norm. Shares are up a little – surprisingly.

Bitcoin back on the march above $98K. Oil up over 1%

I’m at the point where I don’t expect anything good to happen in pm’s for a while. I’d like to be wrong again.

We’ll see what happens after the numbers.

Many wavers have commented on the unusual chart patterns particularly in pms.  This primarily applies to the mid caps and bigger.  I will let you draw your own conclusions as to why.  In any case, it has added to the difficulty in trading.

With all pms I am trigger happy to sell.  Any news that could be negatively construed or negative as say dilution, I sell most or all.

I wouldn’t let a big cap drop more than say 20% and the juniors say between 30 – 50%.  You just do not want to have a position that has no hope of seeing light.

Of course this leads to the occasional outcome of having sold a 10 bagger by not being patient enough.  Still I do sometimes rebuy one that I recently sold.

Also I don’t like having a large amount in one name so if that happens I sell some.

Just how I do it, missing the big gains but also missing the loser pain.

I see, and you guys seem to do better than most picking the juniors. I think Thomson was referring to the larger caps mostly.

With the juniors it’s almost a case of 0 or 10 bagger. Just have to get 2 out of 10 right I suppose. 🙂

maddog – The large caps are under total control. It’s really tough to rely on charts for their performance because their tendency is always down and the manipulators and naked shorters love to engineer upside head fakes. They clean up all the time on false breakouts. No other sector like this one – literally.

Decision time coming soon for PM shares?????

Xau au

Here is a quarterly chart with a well established downtrend, going back to 1996 and a well established up trend , going back to 2016…..with the ratio having almost no range left….without breaking out…..

xau au m

Here is the monthly chart…where recent action can be either an Inverted Head and Shoulders base forming, which if so and the right shoulder is @ equal in time to the left ..says we have @ another 7 months of misery…..or if we call very recent action a bull flag, then we should run higher this month, as the pole and flag are both 6 months…..

I used the XAU as I have more historic data for that than the HUI…..
