You bring up a lot of good points. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’m kind of in a “wait and see” mode regarding Trump.

When I saw that there were 38 Republicans that voted against the revised spending bill, that certainly made me wonder what the heck is going on. It’s extremely challenging to get an unbiased source of news, that tries to as accurately as possible, give people a fair assessment of what’s happening.

For the good of the country, let’s hope that compromises can be made, and progress can be made. Perhaps I’m a bit naive about all of this, but hope and prayer are concepts I’m trying to hold on to in my Golden years…….

I better get to work , eff Joe Biden ♫ ♫ ♫

Does actually go down occasionally. Down from $486 to $416 in 3 days. What is that, 16-17%

Course it’s up from $140 six months ago, so not too bad of a performance. Up 150%

This is what it feels like to look at Gold’s performance recently at the $2,600 level

so that means the metals must suck, but most especially silver down another 1%. But what’s another % among friends? It’s down over 20% in the last two months. I know, I know, physical silver will save us, we can use it for barter when mad max comes, blah, blah, effing blah. It sucks just like the shares do.

Gold faring better, trying desperately to hold $2600, but it won’t.

At least Bitcoin and the other crypto’s are crashing. Etherium is down 10% today and almost 25% in the last 3 days. If we’re lucky, they find their true value down around ZERO.

The SM is headed south because of the scary gov’t shutdown that no one will notice. Police will line up at National Parks to arrest anyone who tries to enter when there are no park rangers. In reality, it’s another paid vacation for the Gov’t. workers who are all “non-essential”. What a country.

Keep your heads on a swivel folks, expect a false flag. The pedophiles won’t just walk away. They’ve already set the government on fire as they are leaving the building.

They intend to burn it all down.

Deer79 – I view this funding bill now as the first epic failure of Trump, and it makes me a little more than suspicious about what he’s doing. First of all, he should never have “backed” that second funding bill. It was garbage, just like the first one, just not 1500 pages, it was slimmed down to 100 pages. They wanted automatic increases in the debt ceiling for the next two years. WTF is that? no cost cuts? Second, and more importantly, the 38 Republicans that voted against the bill were the “good guys”, the true MAGA Republicans. Then Trump calls out Chip Roy from Texas and says he needs to be primaried? WTF is Trump thinking? Roy is one of the few sane congressmen in the entire house, he’s a patriot. Here’s the full list of 38 – all good people. So, Trump either had no clue what the bill really said, or he’s undermining his own major supporters in the House. That makes zero sense. Also, Musk and Ramaswamy didn’t come out and support the new bill. Something is not right. Look at the list, full of MAGA all-stars. Are we going to go through this crap again?

There is no capitalism. Our economies, and most businesses, are built on debt. And those businesses that are debt free, rely on customers who run on debt. We have a debtist society, a debtist economic system.

A capitalist system would rely upon people building up capital through a profitable enterprise. Basically, by producing more than they need to sell to remain alive.

The ultimate input for everything is labour. Whether it is a clothes peg or a car, the entire cost of it is peoples’ time. Time mining materials or chopping down trees. Processing minerals or carving the peg. Manufacturing and assembling. Being able to borrow money to pay for labour is literally living off borrowed time. It is inflationary and distorts the labour markets. It’s what leads to the boom/bust cycles. The love of money might be the root of all evil, but debt is simply evil itself.

Abolish debt.

Your every good a history in away that people can identify with.  Martin Armstrong mention the current kind of congress we have there is no honor amongst thieves. That  something like as I have a lot going on right now only to get my mind off it but is something like if you had 5 gold coins meant for 5 people and then more people came in and wanted a slice of that coin that’s not theirs it would devalue the worth and cause deflation. They would still borrow spend and print beyond their means. That it has more value out of the reach their greedy hands.

He also hinted to keep your coins out of their reach from public storage and safe deposit so is she saying he wouldn’t put it past them would they try to confiscate or they could steel it?

Maybe CNN will hire you

The system is in a slow motion crisis, and gradually or after a while, something big could happen to speed it up.

Mr.Copper

Posted by Maddog @ 14:58 on December 19, 2024

You may have to have a bigger crisis before any chance of bringing the Gold standard back…though as you rightly point out, it did make for fantastic stability…..But there is one thing that could let Gold fly and that is raising the price massively to off set the debt…..from memory I think you need $ 10,000 /oz….!!!!

Do that and the debt is no longer such a threat and it costs nothing….

Johnson’s gotta go!

The things on there they want to spend money on a few outstanding republicans I mind boggled their constituents would want to just pass when they were voted to stop this rip offs and getting these lobbyist money. For instance they even have a bill to fund Censoring, like social media!!!

Captain Hook @ 12:12 Re Capitalism and Stakeholder Capitalism.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:51 on December 19, 2024

In my view there is no capitalism on the planet, because the whole system was gradually weaned off of the gold and silver monetary system starting in 1913 with the federal reserve act.

I also read long ago, that our financial system was a copy of the Nazi system because the Germans had great success before they started absorbing other countries. And stakeholder ways where large corporations help employees and the environment already happened.

The system grew globally, until the World Trade Center which was an attack on globalist minded people and their corporations. So everything is in slow reverse mode ever since 9/11. Populism is getting more popular in other countries, including the USA.

Gold is the end game, and eventually it will probably return. We had zero inflation from 1800 until 1929, in fact things were slightly cheaper after 129 years under a gold standard.

If each and every country produced its own needs, and imported only what it does not have, everybody would probably be better off. Why bother with efficiency, and productivity, (one company making all the air bags, or all the aircraft or cars etc unless we get a shorter work week) or are competing with another planet.

Also with a gold silver backed system, and flat to lower prices, nobody would have to hoard houses, stocks bonds etc etc inflation hedges to make money on their savings. Its a casino economy. And the old $40,000 houses, to keep up with inflation would be $800,000 in todays money. No real gain. Its just the money buys less.

Also re a well off neighborhood, where there are beautiful big victorian homes on big lots, the present owner who inherited one, had the receipts for all the building materials, from around the year 1900 $600 total.

Is this a typical panic over a government shut down

Posted by Maddog @ 13:29 on December 19, 2024

or will Trump and Musk, really hold out…….seems the mkt is not sure, hence the panic sell off in Bonds…which is killing everything else.

Posted by Maddog @ 13:13 on December 19, 2024

Re Buffet

Good thinking…even if didn’t have a tip, taking some off the table, before the election made sense, just in case it all went bad…which it may yet…plus they did try to kill Trump twice !!!!!

and then the mkt was/is a classic bull top for Buffet….sell when everyone is happily bullish and buy when everyone is scared.

deer79 @ 12:35

Posted by Captain Hook @ 12:52 on December 19, 2024

I can understand the way you think. And I understand why you think that way.

But unfortunately, until he has an honest and open discussion about these stakeholder / globalist types – and acts to thwart their efforts – I will have to assume he is one of them.

I prefer to live in the real world.

Now, if he does start acting that way – I would be very happy to change my opinion.

Have a good one.
