Yes I remember him.
Those were the good old days.
No crypto crap to compete with.
Very close to a lasting top and shaving of the crypto creeps soon.
Then it will be back to business.
Gold and silver have been money since the beginning of “modern man”.
And no “modern” hare-brained bankers are ever going to change that.
Cheers all
Thanks Amals, I just used the search feature on the sidebar and it shows the last mention of him was December 2021
Wherever you are Equis old friend, I hope you are happy, healthy, and thriving. If you can, please stick your head in the tent and say hello…and I hope you still have your box of rocks. SNG
Buygold, ipso, Capt. re: Impact
I’m pretty sure I’ve got some. For a long time. I’d have to log in to Fidelity or Schwab to be sure. I don’t think I want to know how much I paid for it. Like so many of my others.
sng re: Equisetum
Don’t know about him currently, but will mention he was the first person to say, “Hello” and welcome me to the old Gold Eagle forum in about 2003. Hope he is alive and well.
This box of rocks reminds me of our old friend Equisetum. Anybody know if he’s still “with us”?
This was from the Dave Hodges Show. Scroll down to this box of rocks for a 10 minute video of hope

Oh, and they are talking about an audit of the Fed – Musk and Ramaswamy pushing it. Might as well take a peak inside Fort Knox while they’re at it.
Now that would be stunning….as for Lindy…..no doubt the ‘pictures’ are a sight to behold.
SilverCrest Metals Acquisition by Coeur Mining
SilverCrest Metals (TSE:SIL) has released an update. Or SILV
SilverCrest Metals Inc. has announced a definitive arrangement with Coeur Mining, Inc. to be acquired in a court-approved plan, with SilverCrest shareholders receiving a premium of 1.6022 Coeur shares for each SilverCrest share, implying an 18% premium and a total equity value of approximately $1.7 billion. Upon completion, SilverCrest will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Coeur, and its shares will be delisted from the Toronto and NYSE American Stock Exchanges. The transaction is subject to approval by SilverCrest and Coeur shareholders, with completion expected in the first quarter of 2025.

Comment:
I have some CDE or Coeur, and it looks to me like CDE price will go down after that.
Tech sure fell out of bed
Surprised we haven’t collapsed with it
edit: wow, I didn’t see that close coming in the SM. Serious stick save.
Mr. Copper
I’m with you, no rhyme or reason for the action of the last two days. Especially the magnitude of the drop in silver. Seeing the shares bounce back today with the metals lagging is odd too.
Then again, there’s a lot of time left in the day, and these shares tend to bleed out slowly after any initial up move. So, we might not have much in the way of gains when the market closes. Certainly, there’s no major buying coming into the sector.

Right … good policy.
Silver gets down to $26 I will be all over it.
Cheers
D’oh!

Captain
Not buying anything, especially on an up day in pm’s. Always a mistake.

It would be nice if we didn’t have to worry about politics provided we have people that were competent in doing their job to the best of their ability that we can trust and give us stability. Unfortunately if anything can drive you to pay closer attention to politics aside from war it would be the market that dives it one way or another be the general market or commodities and merit and demand is baked into the result of politics and their policy’s.
Pete Hegseth is currently being drilled mercilessly by the left in Congress right now. I will respect your wish and not tell you why other than they don’t seem to care who’s best for certain jobs not just place them for quotas they won’t admit to that could put their lives and that of others in peril.
The PMs I looked at but not many seem to currently be on a downtrend they haven’t broke out of but some appear to be trying but not there yet and what they did do is move up currently and filled gaps, So close to resistance to the downtrend lines you can draw by sight, what are they going to do now?
Buygold @ 11:15
I don’t know if you can buy it at Schwab.
I would call them.
It’s going through the roof right now.
I would be careful now because if the next news is not as good – down she goes to fill that gap on Monday.
Cheers
What The Hell Was Yesterday All About?
One big drop yesterday, and today one big equal jump. Its very strange and must be bad machine pricing action. Its not likely millions sold yesterday and then bought back in today.
Captain – got it
No question the data will get ugly when Trump is there, those bureaucrats that still have jobs will try to make them look worse than they are if they are able.
Impact is interesting, almost like an option at this point.
I have Schwab now, I don’t know why the symbol didn’t pop up when I plugged in Goliath. I’ll put it on my watch list.
Surprising day with the SM sort of crumbling. NVDA below your maggot line of $133, was yesterday too but closed above it.

I owned Impact for a long time. Always thought that anything under .20 was a gift. Look at it now! They mine a lot of zinc these days along with the silver.
Buygold @ 10:32
I like Impact Silver too.
Good management (as far as I can tell).
It’s cheap but could get cheaper.
It’s looking like no matter how high gold goes in the near future ($3,000?) – it’s still destined to test lower levels once the stock market rolls over for real.
And of course silver – they will slaughter it back to the cost of production (~$26 and rising) – perhaps below.
I don’t think that will take long once Trump is in and the data points get a lot less friendly.
Cheers
Couple of old names
I had on an old watch list, Impact Silver and Tower Hill. Impact @ $.13, THM @ $.47.
Seem a lot cheaper than I remember. Anyone still following?
First Majestic having an unusually strong day, up over 6%.
Actually, pm shares are surprisingly strong altogether.
