Approaching from the right as is going on the opposite direction.
That’s what started the discussion with maps from a friend in Texas. Maps in literal sense are impossible to use in traffic, you better pre plan it so if your going somewhere your not familiar with you have it written down in letters large enough to quickly glance at so your in the right lane to merge into the next fwy or exit and even put earlier exits to get ready. Otherwise it would be something like a subway in NY and you miss your stop going into the unknown. Could be awhile before you can get back, maybe worse. That’s the only map I need. In the dessert there’s usually just one road and little to no traffic. You just have to have enough sense to gas up before you head out, have a spare tire, know how to change it or now that have this foam you can put in that stops leaks if in a hurry and have a air compressor, battery charger in one now , spare belt, some bring. water and ice and oil and radiator fluid just in case. That time me and a friend drive through shorter part of the desert to Vegas to watch a couple of shows we passed a few people out of gas waiting for help. They were okay but the city people who never left the city for some reason think there’s gonna be gas stations out there.
Yes pedestrians can freeze that’s why you slow down not expecting them to do what you think they should do or could be unable. They might be thinking the driver is going to drive around right or left so freeze so they don’t make the wrong move. Then there’s always children that could run out. That’s why they shouldn’t be crossing busy streets unless you can gauge speed and have it and don’t cause a accident. Here you could get a ticket.
Everything in most of Europe is Priority to the vehicle approaching from the right . I have survived the traffic circle at the Arc de Triomphe . Few Americans could do so. There are several lanes and cars enter and leave from about six roads feeding that circle ( the étoile ) . Here in FL traffic circles are being built , but people are not educated in ceding right of way to those in the circle ( with only two lanes , fed by and from four exit/entrances ( two roads intersecting at right angles)) . As a result there are multiple fender benders daily , until people learn the etiquette.
Suddenly pundits are saying the low oil price (after seven or eight trading days!) is deflationary and Powell needs to cut NOW, the dopey sod, can’t he see? Trump wants lower rates too, but not for deflationary reasons, hence his excoriation of Powell.
The Aussie collapsed in a similar fashion at the same time, but has already recovered its losses; I think the last two days in oil is just it catching up and in a couple more weeks the dump/pump will just be noise on the charts.
He who hesitates is lost/dead/sworn at/blasted with the horn. There’s a guy crossing from the left who sees the bike and pauses – wrong! If he’d continued dawdling across the road the bike was already on a course to miss him by an inch. As he does with all the other pedestrians, shopping trolleys and mobile letterboxes.
Vehicles give way to anything coming from the right, and in front of them. Anything. If you want to swerve left then do so. The driver on your right will give way, even though you didn’t indicate, suddenly accelerated or braked. The white van at the beginning did so.
That’s it. Enjoy.
p.s. maybe check that your life insurance covers you for extreme sports.
Yes that’s what it looks like. Must make it difficult for busses to have to drive that street and no traffic control. Sounds like they’re still showing up on the beaches from boats to Italy. From Normandy to this. What happened?
Ipso – that story about Yemen is fake news, the sources being Bloomberg and WSJ. It also looks like we won’t be attacking Iran either anytime soon. Unless the Globalists/EU/deep state pull off some false flag, I’m pretty sure peace is going to be breaking out. The hawks failed to sway Trump. If they try a false flag, they’ll be blamed for it. All according to Roger Stone.
Maddog, deer79 – oil shot higher today, any idea why?
Yeah that guy was a reckless bike rider! The people in that video must come from someplace there’s few cars. They all walk in the street when the sidewalks are clear.
Africa, boy he was driving fast. I’m surprised they didn’t go after him. By the time he apologized they couldn’t hear him .He was saying to tell everyone to let them know. That they’re migrants going from a place in Italy. Or what I could make out of it. He wants everyone to know what’s going on.
…..and this bit of news is helping the oil companies’ performance today……
the Energy Department is eyeing steep cuts that could wipe out nearly $10 billion in clean-energy funding, jeopardizing major projects with Exxon Mobil and Occidental Petroleum.
Or, as the market appears to see it, a cost saving measure for the likes of Exxon, who will no longer have to endeavor to spend on low-margin “green” businesses.
This is a chart of the XOP…the oil explorer ETF…it is a picture book perfect Inverted Head & Shoulders, with volume confirmation…..left shoulder increasing into the head where it peaks and then declines into the right…..thatb projects way up…if so the majors should follow as well…..If Trump is successful the economies will take off and the demand for energy goes way up, well before new fields can be opened, so oil should stay strong and oil Co earning as well
