Tea tree oil. I wouldn’t try anything like that with him less indicated and okayed by a specialist. As I mentioned before about oils some breath in or think I did lol is some people can be allergic to them or cause more inflammation making things worse to life threatening. For instance one person I know was stationed in Brazil for years. He was allergic to the eucalyptus trees. He suffered fungal infections because of it with constant inflammation he wound up with bacteria coating his lungs sticking like glue. It took multi years before a doctor figured things out. Luckily they found a medicine to heal him but was 50/50. He never smoked. If I remember from years ago Wanka said he had both COPD and Asthma. With Asthma people are generally prone to allergies and these allergies trigger asthma attacks so you don’t want to chance something like that in a respiratory distress situation. With COPD you have lungs that have been damaged. Many of the aveloi that exchange the oxygen are missing and could happen in clusters. Pockets missing in the lungs. In short air sometimes well most the time can get trapped cant get out making the next breath for air difficult. Any problems, flu colds or airborne irritants can make things worse. So you don’t wanna mess with unknown possible irritants.

Tea tree oil is pretty good when indicated and yes can combat a lot of different bugs including MARSA. I keep it around with medical supplies. You have to be careful how you use it though as it also can be a irritant and don’t wanna use it on deep wounds.
