Astronomers use a sidereal system of the heavens; in said system Jupiter is aligned with the Moon this week-end. I practice astrology, not astronomy.
In the tropical system of astrology which I favor, a retrograde Jupiter in Libra is square Pluto in Capricorn and this week-end the transiting Sun will oppose Jupiter while squaring Pluto, forming a Cardinal T-Square with Pluto at the Apex. Cardinal signs lean toward accidents, Capricorn rules the land, and the energy of Pluto intensifies the force of the sign it transits. Pluto creates a chasm, a splitting apart, a rendering asunder to collapse that which does not function according to spiritual law. Its message is “Know Thyself.” Pluto has rulership over earthquakes. So somewhere on the Earth it appears a severe earthquake is probable.
In the chart of the U.S., Apex Pluto falls into the 2nd house of the country’s wealth. The empty leg of the T-Square – where the action will manifest – occurs in the 8th house…so the shaking for America will be in the realm of the treasury, the national debt, financial organizations such as the banking industry and/or the nation’s mortality rates.
In the chart of Canada, Apex Pluto falls into the 10th house so the action will manifest in the opposite house, the 4th…which encompasses mining, living conditions of the people, real estate, and the land itself.
