Loading ...that my fifteen year old grandson ( One of my nine grandchildren in three stable families ) has taken a portion of his part time earnings and good grade incentive rewards to buy a used drum set . As a youngster , almost 60 years ago , I was a professional drummer and practiced at home – much to the annoyance of neighbors .
Fortunately , today there are digital drum sets , so one can practice using headphones as Farmboy suggested .
I got the impression that my grandson’s drums are the old fashioned kind … for a month or two until the family decides to give his a free upgrade to digital .
