The September issue of ‘Life Extension’ magazine (not yet posted here):
http://www.lifeextension.com/magazine/2018
has an article on reducing Sepsis mortality by 87% by the IV application of Vitamin C, Hydrocortisone, and Thiamine (vitamin B1). While your wife is past the danger zone now, this is something to keep in mind if a relapse occurs.
At home, you can do no harm to insure she gets enough B-vitamins and several grams of vitamin C daily. I like the ‘buffered’ vitamin C, calcium ascorbate, as it minimizes stomach upset and provides some calcium. I take 3 grams a day, spread out. More if I’m sick.
