Many of my generation had mothers just before they died come clean for a multitude of reason who they were seperated proudly many times or unresolved issue said to them they would of left their father or step father but they wouldn’t of survived. They’d be in the poor house or the family spit up kids in foster care. For that reason they had to stay with them.
Men usually when seperated from whatever reason will just leave then slowly leave emotionally. Most women know extimctivly not to get involved with a man who just left or divorced or take it very slow. On the other hand a woman, and doesn’t happen over night will leave them emotionslly and then ” today because they can survive” physically, Before them it was usually after the kids got older.
