Fall colors tour in Vermont… a drone’s eye view.
These old semaphore signals at a train station are
called “order boards” from the old days of paperwork
track orders that permitted a train on a line. If the signal
was ’Stop’, it means that the train must pick up paperwork
at the station before continuing on down the line. These
‘order board’ signals are almost never used anymore
in these modern days of track signals and central dispatch.
