Loading ...Historically, Madame Pele the Volcano Goddess prefers Gin rather than Scotch. But not to worry. The lava lake at the bottom of Halemaumau crater at the summit has gone on slow boil again. That hole is still over a thousand feet deep, and you cannot see the bottom from the nearest safe overlook. No danger to anyone. USGS sent some drones over the crater to get video that we saw on the local news last night.
