Loading ...I’ve been noticing all too many people and businesses under reporting, and or not reporting, or paying all their taxes on income. And they don’t really care what anything costs, they are doing well and just pay it. Especially small businesses.
No time for me to tell stories now. But in general, when taxes are high it causes cheating. When taxes are low, its NOT worth cheating. When JFK lowered income taxes, more money came in, just the opposite, because it’s not worth the risk, cooled some cheating. This is well known. Plus, you tend to “like” the president that likes you.
Unfortunately, its been so many decades of high taxes, that not reporting income will never end. Even those immigrants that cut lawns and other menial work. Do you think THEY are reporting their income??
