I didn’t read the article but yes chocolate can help but have to check how long and how much a day and the caffeine content. It has flavonoids which in short causes vasodilation which lowers BP. Thought I’d add something to that though. Lol It can also elevate testosterone levels, although other things can lower it like non stick pans for cooking has chemicals not good in them. Virgin olive oil elevates too non heated. Flavonoids are good for the blood vessels but food that clear them out helps too. Someone on off grid mixes almond butter and honey to counter the bitter in chocolate and a little sweater plus makes energy bars with them.
