Looking at some currency charts, it appears some governments are stepping in to defend their currencies. Oil is traded in US$ and the exchange rate is really wreaking havoc on gasoline and diesel prices in some countries. These interventions only work for a few weeks but usually have a political motive. The dollar has run so far it should be about peaked even with interest rates going up.
It seems cattle herds are still in the liquidation phase but recent rains have helped pastures considerably. There isn’t enough time for the grass to grow significantly, but herd liquidations will slow considerably until the farmers are forced to feed high dollar hay.
Pay attention to the worldwide economies. Most wars start because of financial and food stress.
Wheat prices have become extremely volatile while going nowhere.
