I think what he’s doing is admirable especially for the indigenous people sovereignty and not having a bunch of barbarians come in and take their land and call it for the greater good. They manage what they have so the populated parts need to start doing the same.
A lot of people in their government were also ranch owners that resulted in mass deforestation threatening wildlife the ecosystem and the indigenous as is.
