WTF?? I just got prompted to log in even though I check the remember me box–for 20 plus years

this simple technical problem has not been fixed…then, when I tried to log in a message said I was blocked from this site–then, I had to add 2 numbers to show I wasn’t a robot….after that I was able to log in….anybody else have this experience?
