I’d say avoid all rare meat. It used to be relatively safe to eat a rare steak because if the intestines full of bacteria and particularly Ecoli that can be in water from animal run off especially warm and or still water is full of debris but nefer know, because it can be present in all animals intestines including humans gets accidently cut and exposed to taint the meat of the animal it’s generally safe for some meats like steak to only be on the surface that can be cooked off but other forms like ground meat can be mixed together and should never be rareĀ  Also washing your hands handling it and disinfecting any surface esp working with raw foods and better prepared on another surface. With pigs it’s never safe to eat any part rare anyways. Actually no meat if it has a potential to be infected by something. That’s why the tribal hunters eating hearts raw isn’t a good idea. Trapping a small wild animal like rabbits, skunk, squirrels can be infected with other things including rabies and check the liver if looks abnormal but no sure thing and don’t cut yourself preparing it and wash your hands and any surface by rinsing in hot water, disinfecting even in hot soapy water and rinsing again once or twice in hot water. If camping away from sleeping area and in sunny place where sun can kill bacteria and rinsing it hot water if you have plenty to spare but your hands and cutting utensils even if you burn utensils in a fire till hot. Last place you want to get sick is camping and away from help.

Who in the heck okayed this again and when are they going to be responsible and where’s the class action to recoup losses including any vet bills.

Now cows are getting bird flu.
