Everything is sort of hugging the flatline at the moment, waiting for the news to see which way Aladdin will take ALL markets.
PM shares are steady. GFI is notable and up near 5% after getting the obligatory whack for having the nerve to buy Osisko. They deal may just set off a flurry of other deals, and they paid a decent premium. GFI is going much higher IMHO when things really get going, and they have been lagging the rest of the majors, in part because of troubles with one of their mines. When they finally start firing on all cylinders, they will perform every bit as well as the other majors.
Another couple hours and the tone will be set for the day.
Hoping to see gold breach $2500 this week. If so, there will be a nasty fight and much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Goldie – will watch the video. Agree with this statement “Bitcoin, even gold isn’t going to be your priority. Food medicine and ammo will.”
I’m glad I’m older now. I’ll take some potshots if it comes down to it but won’t likely be a longer-term survivor. Most of us older folk will bite the dust first, so they might as well put us on the front lines. 🙂
