That reminds me a funny occasion. My wife and I had a friend, a teacher from Ohio. She ventured forth one day and visited us when we were living in Southern Ontario.
During course of a conversation we mentioned ‘Western Canada’: her response was “Canada has a west?”
At least she had the gumption to challenge the border crossing and the 400 mile trip. 🙂
