Loading ...I just talked to my daughter other mom yesterday visiting but didn’t know about the hurricane yet so don’t know if she flew back or still here.
My friend in Texas said you have to watch the tap water after a hurricane too. She’s got one of those good water filters if all else fails.
At this rate it might be worth it to get a CB or one of those satellite phones. If we don’t hear from you we’ll know why. My friend knows all about the news telling people to evacuate then it hits somewhere else or they find they can’t get back in it does so the next time they don’t leave and those too close to the ocean in surge areas can result in death or surge comes in faster than it was predicted.
She’s far enough away the worst is her street and yard flood but her house is elevated including her chicken house. She’s been though them most her life and used to it. I’m surprised they haven’t come up with drive away beach homes yet.
