Loading ...Yes. They are pretty far north from us. If you look on the map, we are near Englewood, which says 4-7 ft. It seems like it might be higher than that. We already have a few homes that have taken on water that are on the bay, and the tide is coming in. The biggest concern would be drainage, since the rain drains into the bay. Fortunately, we’ve had very little rain, and no rain since early this morning. Thank the Lord.
It has developed into a Cat. 3 now and is close as it will get to us. Winds are said to be 43 mph, although I’d say it’s a little heavier than that right now. The best thing is that it’s moving north at 20 mph and we’ll be at back end pretty soon. High tide is 6 pm. I’ll take another look at the bay then.
