Very true. 2 million people are still without power. That alone is a challenge especially in areas of North and South Carolina where they probably didn’t expect the kind of flooding they got. The folks here have generators where I live, they just needed the water to recede to get them fired up. Gas stations are still open and most of the damage was limited to the coast. Different story up there. So tough.
They will need help there for quite some time. Those dock workers should delay their strike. Those guys make nearly $200K a year with great benefits and pensions. They want a 70% pay increase. They’ll look awful greedy if they strike in a time of turmoil.
