Loading ...Has traded 34.5M shares today. Better than average volume, pretty good. I came in an hour and a half ago and the volume was 33.5M. Everything in the sector has literally slowed to a crawl. GLD won’t even do avg. volume. Shares are anemic.
Computers can move this stuff anywhere they want with very little effort.
Contrast that with NVDA or TSLA and it takes a lot more money and effort.
Pretty pathetic, because there’s very little on the buy side of the sector, so the pressure from the computers is always down and dropping the bids. They basically just wait for the buying to dry up like they did with silver and go right back to selling small quantities all day. I see 10, 20, 40 share lots go through on silver. Nobody buys 10 shares of a $30 stock.
Quite the racket.
